Zebrawood veneer, also called zebrano veneer, originated from the Gabon, Cameroon and Congo of Africa., is a hardwood veneer mainly used for top quality furniture surface making and top grade interior decoration.

Zebrawood veneer typically has a golden yellow or tan heartwood with dark brown to black contrasting stripes which gives it its zebra-like appearance.

Zebrawood veneer has nice vertical grains with bold light tan to dark brown contrasting stripes. The contrasting grain can be tightly spaced or slightly wider but always an alternating light and dark contrast. Zebrawood is almost exclusively quarter cut only to produce the characteristic stripe.
